A night of excitement and pride in the commemoration of the 181st anniversary of the Independence of the Dominican Republic

On February 26th, we experienced an unforgettable evening in commemoration of the 181st anniversary of the Independence of the Dominican Republic. We deeply thank everyone who joined us on this night filled with music, emotion, and pride, during which the ICDA Men’s Choir and Mixed Choir delivered a performance brimming with talent and passion.
The night took on an even more special tone when former members of both groups reunited on stage, celebrating 36 years of the choir’s history and tradition. This heartfelt reunion reminded us of the importance of honoring our roots and continuing to build upon the cultural legacy of those who, through their dedication and talent, have kept this tradition alive.
During the evening, we had the honor of paying a well-deserved tribute to Lorenzo Minaya, who has served the choir for 36 uninterrupted years. His legacy and commitment were applauded by all present, who recognized his dedication and contribution to strengthening the musical culture of our country.
It was a night filled with profound emotions, where music connected us to our history, our independence, and our identity as a people. We feel very proud to have shared this special moment with all those in attendance.
