FIRST-ENTRY STUDENTS

  • Complete the admission application form.
  • High school certification issued by the Ministry of Education (MINERD).
  • High school transcript with the signature of the educational district.
  • Original legalized birth certificate.
  • Medical certificate.
  • 2 photos (2x2).
  • Photocopy of ID card.
  • Take the POMA admission test, English placement exam, and the PACE test for Education students:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Foreign Languages Concentration: English

- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts Education

- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education

- Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education

- Bachelor’s Degree in Youth and Adult Education

TRANSFERRED STUDENTS

TRANSFERRED STUDENTS

  • Filling out the admission application form.
  • Certificate of completion of Secondary Education issued by the Ministerio de Educación de la República Dominicana (MINERD).
  • High school transcript signed by the corresponding educational district.
  • Original and legalized birth certificate.
  • Medical certificate.
  • 2 portrait photos 2×2.
  • Photocopy of a valid Dominican ID card or passport.
  • Taking the English level exam.
  • Educational institution of origin transcript legalized by the Ministerio de Educación Superior, Ciencia y Tecnología (MESCyT)
  • Photocopy of course programs to be validated stamped by the institution of origin.
  • Filling out the Credit Transfer Application form.
  • The applicant must have a minimum academic index of 75 points, or 2.5 on a scale of 4.
  • The subject to be validated must have equal or greater number of credits.

  • Filling out the application form for admission.
  • Original birth certificate translated into Spanish, apostilled or legalized at the Dominican consulate of the country of origin. (see *Note)
  • Copy of high school diploma translated into Spanish and apostilled or legalized at the Dominican consulate in the country of origin. (see *Note)
  • High school transcript, translated into Spanish and apostilled or legalized at the Dominican consulate in the country of origin. (see *Note)
  • Medical certificate.
  • 2 portrait photos 2×2.
  • Photocopy of valid passport.
  • Taking the Poma admission test, English level test and the PAA test for students of the Bachelor's Degree in English oriented to Teaching.
  • Homologation of high school studies at the Ministry of Education in the Dominican Republic.

*Notes:

- For scholarship programs with INAFOCAM it is necessary to visit their page www.inafocam.edu.do and consult the requirements and  dates to complete them.

- The foreign candidate whose mother tongue is not Spanish, must pass, by means of a level exam, the first four levels of the Spanish program for foreigners of the ICDA Language School.

Foreign documents:

- Apostille: If the country of origin belongs to the Hague Convention, you must carry out the apostille of the documents and their translations into Spanish. See list of countries.

- Dominican Consulate: If the country issuing the document is NOT within the Convention, you must legalize the documents and their translations into Spanish at the Dominican Consulate/Embassy of the country where they were issued and then by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Dominican Republic.
