Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. – The Universidad Domínico Americano (UNICDA) and the Instituto de Educación Superior en Formación Diplomática y Consular (INESDYC) signed a cooperation agreement with the purpose of generating exchanges of theoretical and practical experiences through various activities that promote and strengthen international relations with emphasis on culture, business, languages and inclusion.
Among the actions that will be carried out under the framework of this agreement are: investigations, training, exchange and mobility of students and academic staff; dissemination and transfer of science, knowledge and technology; promotion of international education and development of cultural and social outreach activities.
The agreement was signed by Eng. Ramón Sosa, rector of UNICDA, and Dr. José Rafael Espaillat, rector of INESDYC.
During the activity, Eng. Ramon Sosa emphasized that this agreement will allow both institutions to exchange cultural, academic and investigative experiences that support societal development.
On his part, Dr. Espaillat expressed the importance of joining efforts and being able to develop strategies that allow initiatives in different areas of national interest, and to be able to contribute in languages such as sign language, part of the social commitment that we have assumed, and in gastronomic issues.
Also present at the signing of the agreement on behalf of INESDYC were Dr. Alejandra Liriano, Academic Vice Rector; Nikauly Vargas, in charge of International Relations; Ambassador Jorge Santiago, in charge of Postgraduate Studies; Wilfredo Casilla, in charge of Continuing Education; María Agramonte, in charge of Extension; Alexandra Llinás, in charge of the Language Section; Allen Peña, in charge of the Legal Division; Elizabeth Fondeur, in charge of Communications and Julio Altagracia, Protocol Advisor.
Also participating on behalf of UNICDA were Dr. Laura Reyes, Academic Vice Rector; B.A. Alicia Carlo, the Student Life Director and Extension Vice Rector; B.A. Karlans Camacho; the Coordinator of Continuing Education and the Teacher Development Center; B.A. Karina Taveras, in charge of Extension and Social Outreach and B.A. Eliana Sanchez, Coordinator of Institutional Events and Protocol.
