Students of the Bachelor’s Degree in English for Teaching Present Their Final Teaching Practice Reports at UNICDA

On Wednesday, November 27th, the graduating students of the Bachelor’s Degree in English for Teaching at the Universidad Domínico Americana (UNICDA) successfully presented their final reports, the result of the six supervised teaching practices they completed throughout their academic training.

This important milestone in the future educators’ training process allowed students to present the results obtained through workshops and research carried out both in the classroom and at various educational centers selected for their teaching practices. Each presentation reflected the students’ effort, creativity, and commitment to the teaching-learning process.

During the preparation of these final reports, the students were guided by Professor Solangel Meléndez, who provided academic support and guidance in the development of their projects. The event also included the participation of academic authorities from UNICDA, including Licenciada Ligia Henríquez, the program coordinator, and Virginia Solimán Ma. Ed., the coordinator of the teaching practices, who highlighted the importance of these processes in the comprehensive formation of future teachers. Faculty members and collaborators from the institution were also present, offering support and feedback to the students.

“This type of activity not only demonstrates the academic level achieved by our students, but also highlights their ability to apply what they have learned in real-world situations, a fundamental step for their professional development,” said Licenciada Henríquez during her speech.

The presentations and the teaching practice process are an essential part of UNICDA’s educational approach, which aims to prepare its graduates with a strong profile adapted to the needs of the current educational system. Through such experiences, the university reaffirms its commitment to training competent professionals dedicated to educational excellence.
