UNICDA in collaboration with Major League Baseball, donates school supplies

In an inspiring display of solidarity that reflects the social commitment of the Universidad Domínico Americano (UNICDA), the Department of Social Engagement and Extension, in collaboration with Major League Baseball, made a donation of school supplies last month. This initiative benefited more than 100 students, including those represented by the Centro Deportivo y Cultural Ozama (CEDECO), the Patricio Antonio Bonet school, and the children from the Bethesda Orphanage.

The event featured the special participation of young prospects from the Seattle Mariners academy, who joined the effort to support these vulnerable children. Their presence added an inspiring touch to the event, demonstrating that solidarity and social commitment know no borders.
