Award Ceremony for UNICDA Excellence Scholarships 2026 to Young Women Recognized for Academic Excellence
Universidad Domínico Americano (UNICDA) held the formal award ceremony for the UNICDA Excellence Scholarships 2026, a program that recognizes the talent, academic excellence, and commitment of young women who are beginning to build their professional futures today.
In this edition, the recipients are Jasmin Inoa Carrasco, who will begin the degree in Cybersecurity Engineering, and Amaya Oded Ramírez Sánchez, who will pursue Data Science Engineering, both selected as beneficiaries of the UNICDA Excellence Scholarship 2026.
The ceremony was led by the Rector of UNICDA, Lic. Enrique Fernández Malla, and the Academic Vice Rector, Dr. Josefina Pepín, who officially presented the scholarships and shared an inspiring message with the new students.
The event was also attended by the Academic Dean, Dr. Juan José Mariñez; the Dean of Student Services, Eng. Edwin Salazar; the Engineering Area Coordinator, Eng. Paola Martínez; and the Admissions Manager, Lic. Kamairys Guzmán, who accompanied the new scholarship recipients during this important moment.
As part of the event, Paula Mabel Martínez Abreu, recipient of the UNICDA Excellence Scholarship 2025 and student of Data Science Engineering, also participated by sharing her experience as a scholar and inspiring the new beneficiaries through her testimony.
With the awarding of these scholarships, UNICDA reaffirms its commitment to training professionals who, through knowledge, innovation, and excellence, will contribute to the development of society.
